No you can't.
Guitar Hero IV looks like it'll have the same strengths and weaknesses as GHIII. It'll have a great soundtrack, cool real life rock stars, and vastly improved peripherals. On the other hand, the core gameplay will be plagued by overcharting and will somehow lack the spark that made co-op in Rock Band so fun.
I love how the GH:WT features just keep getting more and more blown out of proportion. From the expanded tracklist of over a 100 songs, all masters from top tier artists (although we have only 4-5 artists named and not all of them are "top tier"), to drums that are 100% silent and will never break or miss a note and look "really realistic" (cuz I've seen all sorts of real drums that look like that
), to now you can download your songs from an ipod.
Really, is it just kids making this crap up, or are they getting these ideas from some web site that nobody knows about?
I'm going to buy and play GHWT.
Is it going to blow away Rock band or Rock band 2?
I have no idea, I haven't played it yet. But I'm going in to the game with an open mind.
And for the record the amount of on disc songs are going to be 85 according to an interview with Activision in Game informer.

Look, hype is bad. All that is fueling GHWT right now is hype. Until we get confirmed songs, and a playable demo (I'd say both of these will probably happen at E3), it will be all hype.
Guitar Hero 3 was a disappointing release, especially with Rock Band. It's going to take a lot for Activision to redeem itself.

Based on the OP's lack of capitals, run on sentences, how to spell 'you' and it's appropriate extensions, I would CERTAINLY take whatever Mr. Joey789 says as, well, bunk.
Sorry bud.
It's actually not really realistic. Please, explain what is.
Is it the fact that it has two crashes?
Maybe that it has 3 toms?
Maybe that the pads are 'velocity sensitive'? [you think RB drums conk out easy? Wait until we have pads that cue you to hit them harder than other times. HA! I can see it now. And don't think they'll be as generous with their warranty, either]
What exactly makes it really realistic?
You have the ability to 'make' (OBVIOUSLY, this option will not be as feature rich as the hype generated, by people like Mr. Joey789, will have you believe. Mark my words) music, with a drum set that has three toms and a plastic guitar, along with vocals that aren't editable [meaning, you MUST use vocals supplied with the game]. Yea, sounds like a genuine band-in-a-box.
It's known that you cannot simply 'download songs off ur ipod or mp3 or ur ps3 on to guitar hero 4 and play them'. Like where the hell did you pull that out of your @ss? Why would a feature like that only work for ps3? That sentence makes GHIV sound like it is it's own console system, rather than just another game disc with some peripherals. Why would ANY song released EVER magically be playable as soon as it's hooked up to the game system.
Anyone reading topics like this, and believing ANY of it, need to get their head straightened.
And by the way, if anything I said in this response was incorrect, please feel free to correct me with some sources. Thanks!

Unless GH4 lets me use RB peripherals, I'll be skipping it...
Honestly, I'm not holding much hope for GH:WT, but I'll wait till it comes out to criticize or praise. My biggest concern is the amount of tracks. 85 songs sounds good, but RB only had 58, and the disk was at capacity (for the X-Box anyway). I guess what I'm trying to say is, they are trying to squeeze in all sorts of features that RB has and has not, then add 27 more on disc songs than RB had at launch....something is going to suffer.
As I've said before, I'm very skeptical that Activision will be able to deliver a quality game experience based on all they have claimed.
Time will tell.
