We're usually passing the mic around, so I think it would be useful.

Just one mans' opinion, but if you can't get me some Queensryche and/or Dream Theater in RB2, I won't be there at midnight on release day to buy it like I was the first time around. I've personally been a little disappointed in the music selection, aside from a few here or there (Disturbed was a nice get), I hope there's some heavier material, ideally some good prog rock, coming our way, these two being the main ones I'd want to see.

To be clear, I'm buying RB2 regardless because RB is awesome... I'll be buying the whole kit no less. Then again, I'm also going to buy GHWT for sure because I think they do a better job with the guitar parts, which is what I like most, so really everyone is happy here But the RB guys have done a FAR superior job with DLC, even though it hasn't been too exciting for me in general, there's certainly no arguing the quantity... just gimme one or two DT and/or QR songs and you can never release anything again as far as I'm concerned. Hell, gimme an entire album from either band as DLC right now and you can have my house!! I mean really, isn't Operation Mindcrime just about the most perfect DLC imaginable anyway?!?

I only purchase games on PS3 that go on extreme clearance ie: orange box for $15 bux @ Target. W/ all that being said the best looking game imo to date is metal gear solid 4.
so, the ps2 was harder to develop for and companies still made games for it. Games often times came out first on the ps2.

I am upset that the ps3 version of rb2 won't be out the same time as thr 360 and wish they would release them at the time time becuase I think they will lose people gh:wt becuase of the 360 exclusiveness.

But as long as the old disc songs, characters, and bands transfer over with the dlc, I will be happy.

I suppose the drums could be wired, but then make the cord twice as long. I just hate having to rearrange the furniture to make our "stage" within 10 feet of the tv, not to mention people tripping on or yanking out the cords.
LOL, how big is your living room? Where is your couch that it's already within 10 feet of your tv? The mic cord's already like 20 feet long. Just because they were wireless doesn't mean you still wouldn't have to make room for the drums...

    Back on topic:
For RB2 I just want solo and online BWT. Let me switch instruments with 1 character, that way, if our band leader is a guitarist, my wife and I can still play drums and do vocals. I'm actually not sure how that didn't come up during your playtesting for this first one. It's really, really annoying having to switch instruments and sign in and out all the time.

Im not interested in the fender strat didnt like the original the wammy bar was to large for my liking and the buttons sucked... The new gh 4 WT guitar looks like it has a huge wammy 2 i like the xplorer and les paul concerned about what they will be like i will only purchase the complete rock band setup again if there is a new drum setup and prb be selling the strat once again...

I think that is simply because there were more ps2 owners than xbox owners the 360 imo has way more sold units and people online and prb way outselling in dlc... I could be wrong but I doubt it... I think when it comes down to it... it says a lot about a system when there are lots of people who own both a 360 and ps3 and pay to play on the 360 over the ps3's free online play...

i have both a 360 and a ps3 and i would get any game thats on both platforms for the 360 because xbox live is so much better than sonys free online service. Also no matter how sony tries to copy the achievements are so much better than the trophies. Microsoft will always have a place in my heart, only good thing about a ps3 is a cheap blu-ray player and MGS4
