I cried the first time I saw "Edward Scissorhands". I felt so bad for him at the end.

His performance in "Sweeney Todd" gave me chills. If that hack Daniel-Day Lewis had not been nominated, he would have won a well deserved Oscar.

Although, he deserved an Oscar for "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" & "Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl" (but alas, Sean Penn stole that one).

Also, "Ed Wood" is just a great movie that doesn't get much love.

Now i know its not so popular but i really like Depp in Sleepy Hollow - its a dark, sinister film which is made funny by his characters weird fears and habbits.

Sweeney Todd was my favorite, although Ninth Gate was excellent as well.

I can't say that any stand out above the rest. He brings something unique and different to every role he takes. I like them all equally.

But if someone put a gun to my head, I would have to say Blow.

I would have picked "Donnie Brasco" because Al Pacino + Johnny Depp = win

Although they overused the phrase "Fugetaboutit"

But I picked Pirates just because I love his portrayal of the character
The first movie was awesome the second and thrid sucked

I have to say that I think that Jonhnny Deep is one the greatest actors of our generation, I mean there is practically no role that he cannot play.

I have several picks for best JD movie but, I will go with Pirates, I just love that character (Jack Sparrow).

There's no way I could pick. I really liked Secret Window too.
