Does anyone else here ever go on a thrift store raid?
I go all the time, usually every few weeks, to every thift store in a 40 mile radius and buy records, 8 tracks, cds, cassettes, and other things until I am worn out.

I check them out every once in a while, but all I ever seem to find is an abundance of Barry Manilow records.

Barry Manilow Live is an essential to make any thrift store a thrift store, without it, its just another shack, if you remove it from the store, the store will collapse. Same goes for the Steisand album, 101 Stings, 120 String Performances, and Manatovani.

Dang man, that's a great collection with just those records you just bought. I haven't been able to do what you do but I do get vinyl at flea markets. All of the vinyls I got so far work well except Kansas-Two for the Show. That record needs to be cleaned before I put it on the record player.

yeah, like 5 of the ones I bought, (Traffic (both), The Doors, Cream, and the Beach Boys (only one)) were all in pretty poor condition, but they may still be playable

Damn you... Though I do have the Traffic album you listed. Only record I've gotten from a thrift store was The Monster Mash, haha. I got it for the sheer novelty, mind you.

I go to yard sales, Flea markets, Thrift stores.. I find CDs now and then. I bought Soundgarden's A Sides CD with the case and booklet for 50 cents, for an example.
