Maiden Heaven - A Tribute To Iron Maiden, is an album consisting of 15 Iron Maiden Songs covered by some of todays known (or unknown!) bands. Its actually not a bad album, with some amazing covers, and some covers proving that some bands, shouldnt try to cover iron maiden!

now i havnt listened too this whole cd yet, but id just like to comment on it, and if anyone else has heard it feel free to comment as well!

Blacktide - Prowler * we probly all heard of blacktide first on RB. and i gotta say, after hearing this amazing cover (probly the best on the disk!) it makes me want too search for more from this young band. amazing cover, must listen to!

Avenged Sevenfold - Flash Of The Blade * A7x is probly my favorite band, but that doesnt mean they are the best at covers, although i gotta say the cover isnt bad at all! one of the *acceptable* covers on the album, and a definate listen!

Coheed and Cambria - The Trooper * easily the second best cover on the album, a great sound Vocally from claudio sanchez, they didnt stray away from the song like some bands did on this album, and sounds GREAT!

Metallica - Remember Tomorrow * Dont know what to think really about this cover, definately not maiden, ive never heard the original, but seems like metallica tried to make it too much of there own. Sounds good though!

Signs - Run To The Hills * Never heard of *signs* before, but i think this cover sucks, sounds like a commercial Halfway to EMO POP band trying to cover maiden... and maiden is not for the emo pop at heart! horrible cover :/ it doesnt even ****ing sound like run to the hills...


Cant play it on the guitar=dont cover it. ****in ruined the song. its like a band that cant play ANY of the song techniqually, trying to cover it, its just ass... god.... argh. if i didnt know any better id say *signs* has never heard the original themselfs?

The Gallows - Wraithchild * just wow.....what the hell did the gallows do too this song? i actually like the gallows style, but i dont think maiden fans will like this cover, although its not HORRIBLE, its definately not maidenish.

thats all i really listened to so far, but feel free too comment or let know your opinion if you heard any of these songs from this album.

it is DEFINATELY a interesting album! you can find it in the new issue of KERRANG magazine i believe.
