Profile Points and Membership Types????

Well been noticing my points on my profile rising. I have no ideal what these are for. They can be found on your main page under membership type which I'm also wondering about. Its say normal. Well anyhow anyone know what its all for?

Membership type means "Mod", "Admin", or "Normal"

I dunno about points though, I've always pondered that.

Yeah I don't think anyone really knows what the whole points thing means or how you get them. I've seen people with half as many posts as me have more points, and other ppl with more posts then me but less points.

Things like blogs, uploading pictures and stuff probably effect it.
