Disturbed superior to Coheed and Cambria...honestly, I can't help but laugh. Disturbed are terribly generic.
It is not closed-minded to dislike something. It is, however, closed-minded to degrade something simply because you dislike it.

yeah, wafflerevolution is also the type of person who calls songs by their "YouTube names" (when people go "I like this song but I don't know the name so I'm just gonna pull a 'title' out of the chorus instead of looking up the real title") and still has the cojones to call himself a fan of the band

I know you can't realistically say one band is "better" than the other since it's all opinion, but I just can't believe that people would actually prefer a band that has more or less regurgitated the same sound for the past three albums (Disturbed) to a band that innovates and experiments with each album. I don't dislike Disturbed; they're good background music for online FPS matches (though I don't do that much anymore), but they're not intriguing in any sense of the word. If I'm actually trying to listen to a Disturbed album, I find that I start to tune it out after a few tracks.

Coheed, on the other hand, always holds my attention from start to finish, no matter how many times I listen to their albums.

Different strokes for different folks, the beauty of opinions.

I've personally been a fan of Disturbed since their first album and have loved each release. Do I think they're anywhere close to Coheed on a musical level? Hell no. But they do have good songs that are fun to listen to.

But yeah, some people are really afraid of bands experimenting (look how many people *****ed about Linkin Park's newest album) and it's really sad.

Oh yeah. I've also heard people refer to AFHA as "that Good Eye Sniper song".
