I have to admit... i'm a barfly. Well, i was before i got RockBand. Now me and my pals hang out at my pad and rock out.

But, I've never seen any RB tourneys or anything like that in my area, and was pondering a way to hook it up, for money, of course :P

Like Karaoke people getting their cash, 360 owners could potentially make their own cash.

I've been in bands, so i know a sound guy who would set up the sound for almost nothing, as long as i provide the manpower to move it (and give him plenty of free drinks).

But since i've never been to a RB or GH event, how are these things set up to run? I was thinking about having 3 judges to judge the bands on style points for 1/3 of the final score, and maybe the average of each band member's hit percentage as 1/3 of the final score.... but what about difficulty level? That's what separates the men from the boys. Maybe make everyone play on HARD difficulty and make it easy, or devise a scoring system for the various difficulty levels.

I really wanna hear how some of the other RB and GH events are run and/or scored.
