Concour Rockband / Rockband Contest Quebec MTL-Longueuil-St-hubert

Bonjour!

Mon nom est Frédéric et j'organise une concour RockBand. Je crois que la plupart connaissent le jeu Rockband à la console Xbox 360 ou la PS2-PS3 ou même la Wii. Le but du jeu est que un guitariste, un bassiste, un drummer et un chanteur complète des chansons pour avancer dans une carrière musicale à travers les grandes villes.

Ce que je veux organiser c'est un concour comme un combat des bands. Vous venez en groupe de 4 musiciens sinon vous ne pouvez pas jouer. Probablement que vous pourrez vous regrouper si il y a d'autre musicien qui leur manque soit un guitariste, bassiste, drummer ou chanteur.

La manière de contabiliser le score des groupes sera leur score total du *band*. Donc avoir un très bon guitariste ne vous aidera pas si le reste du groupe ne sont pas au même niveau. Chaque groupe seront classé selon le niveau de difficulté. Donc, si un groupe joue à facile et que l'autre joue à expert, ils ne seront pas classé dans la même catégorie. ATTENTION!!! Les bands qui ne seront pas tous au même niveau seront classé dans Mélanger.

En plus des points finales additionnés à chaque chanson, un juge décidera de plusieurs raisons de points bonis.

Plusieurs critères seront vérifié par le juge :

- L'unison ( Capacité de jouer les punchs des chansons sans erreurs pour tous les instruments )
- Les solos de guitariste ( Le pourcentage totale réussi du solo ou des solos )
- Les solos de batterie ( Si le solo est cohérant )
- Les punchs du chanteur ( Lorsque le vocale devient OR )
- Le nombre de notes en serie pour le bassiste

Donc les choix de difficulté pour les groupes sont :

- Facile
- Modéré
- Difficile
- Expert
- Mélanger

Plus la difficulté est élevé, plus les prix seront grands. Pour ceux qui sont dans la catégorie mélanger, ce critère n'affecte pas les prix.

Les joueurs auront chacun deux set de chansons identiques, donc chaque groupe devront jouer le même premier set à la première ronde et le deuxième set à la deuxième.

La sélection de chansons pour le premier set sera :

- Wanted Dead Or Alive
- Run To The Hills

La sélection de chansons pour le deuxième set sera :

- Highway Star
- Enter Sandman
- Paranoid
- Flirtin With Disaster
- Green Grass And High Tides

Il y aura un set speciale de 2 chansons a choisir parmi toutes les chansons. ( Attention, certaine chansons offre plus de points que d'autre. On ne peut choisir que les chansons qui ne sont pas dans le premier et le deuxième set )

***Les groupes auront droit à une chanson d'échauffement avant le premier set.

Pour que le concour ait lieu, il devra y avoir un minimum de 4 groupes à y participer, donc 16 personnes. L'inscription est gratuite et sans obligation pour les prix. Amenez vos amis et famille pour Rocker dans le concour.

La date du concour sera le LUNDI 18 août au magasin de CTC MUSIQUE au 3621 Taschereau à St-Hubert, Greenfield Park.

PS : Ceci est un lancement d'essaie. Si cela va comme prévu, probablement que chaque Lundi soir nous auront ce concour avec des petits frais d'inscription.

My name is Frédéric and i'm organizing a contest of RockBand. I think that most of you know what is the game Rockband at the Xbox 360, PS2-PS3 or even on the Wii. The goal of this game is that a guitarist, a bassist, a drummer and a signer completes songs to go further in plenty of city into a career.

What I want to organize is a contest like a war of the bands. You come in group of 4 musicians or you can't subscribe into the contest. Probably there will be musicians that are alone that you could add along to subscribe as a guitarist, a bassist, a drummer or a signer.

The way that score will be calculated is the final score for the whole band. So even if you have a wonderfull guitarist and the rest of the band isn't at the same level, it won't help that much. Each groups will be classed into the same difficulty. So, if a group play at the easy difficulty, they won't be in the same category as the group that play expert. WARNING!!! The groups that has musicians with different difficulties will be classed in Random.

With the final scores, there will be additionnal points that a judge will add along.

Variety of things will be taken in consideration from the judge :

- Unison ( Capacity for the four players to play the punchs without errors )
- Guitar Solos ( The percent of the solo or solos of the guitarist )
- Drum Solos ( If the drum solos are coherent )
- Signer punchs ( When the vocal field become Gold )
- The streak notes made by the bassist

Here are the difficulties for the bands :

- Easy
- Medium
- Hard
- Expert
- Random

More the difficulty, more the prize is. For those who are in the random difficulty, the prizes won't change.

The groups will have 2 sets of songs. They will have 2 rounds, the first and the second.

The first selection of songs for the first set is :

There will be a special set of 2 songs to choose between all the rockband songs. ( Warning, there is songs that give out more points than others. You can't take the same songs as those in the 2 previous sets )

***The groups will have the oportunity to practice one song before the first set list.

The contest will happen if we get a minimum of 4 groups, so a minimum of 16 people. If we don't reach that number we will have to cancel it. The subscription is totally free! Bring your friends, your family to rock into the contest.

The contest Date is Monday the 18th August, at the CTC MUSIQUE store at 3621 Taschereau in St-Hubert, Greenfield Park.

This contest is a trial. If this goes as i wish, we will make this every monday with a small fee.

Merde.... C'est dans ces temps-là que j'aimerais avoir 3 amis pour faire ce genre de compétition.

Juste au cas ou il y aurait des intéressés.... Je vis sur la rive-sud.

C'est simple, tu peut amener des amis ou tout simplement venir et si il y a des personnes qui sont seul ou manque un musicien, tu peut tout simplement te joindre a eux. C'est gratuit donc sa vaux la peine de se presenter, mais la premiere fois que je fais sa, seulement la premiere va etre gratuite. Si tout fonctionne comme prévu, des concours de rockband se produiront a tous les lundi avec des frais d'inscription.

C'est possible que l'on ait le groupe Stunned qui va jouer a l'entract entre les 2 sets. Le concour va se faire sur un stage avec ecran geant et audio professionnel.

What was said is that even if you are alone, you still can come at the event and if a group is missing someone you could tag along. And my last post was that between the 2 sets, there might be the group Stunned that will play some of their own songs.

Actually, I think that soon enough, people in our country (Canada) will have to speak 3 languages. English, French and Spanish. :/
