I would pay a great wealth of moneys for the Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence song to be released in a similar fashion to 2112.
    Tool
    The Living End
    Bluejuice
    Foster the People

    And more Muse
    Blink 182
    Dream Theater
    Faith No More

Would indeed make me rather moist

I have to say Octavarium over SDOIT. But I would still dig a ton more Dream Theater in Rock Band, even if it would be too hard for us normal folk. I got a 5-pack idea.

    Metropolis, Part 1
    As I Am
    The Glass Prison
    Peruvian Skies
The Count of Tuscany (probably divided into parts)
We need sludgey and droney and stonery metal:
    Dirge
    Sleep
    Bongripper
    Sunn O)))
    Electric Wizard
    Earth
    Neurosis
    Cult of Luna

We would get a 3-pack that would probably include these:

    Pull Me Under
    As I Am
    Forsaken

This is what I would think would be the best though:
    Metropolis Pt 1
    Under a Glass Moon
    Lines in the Sand
Friday, Dec 2nd, marks the greatest day of my RB life when they first announced the last 9-pack of Queen. HMX is my best friend

I'd definitely prefer the latter one. The first one is really not representative of DT's real sound. IMO, those first three are DT's true attempts at radio-friendly stuff, but I think we need some more deep cuts/longer songs.

I agree with you, the first one is the pack HMX would most likely give us. We would most likely never get a pack that looks like the second one, but we should, darn it!

    Hey guys!

While it's not Dream Theater per say, have you checked out No Holy Man by Eden's Curse?

It features James on guest vocals :

I am friggin' loving that song, TAG. It's already my most-played song on Xbox (which doesn't quite mean as much as you think it does, I've only had RB3 for Xbox for a few months). Love it so much and I will DEFINITELY buy it again if it comes over to PS3.

I really hope that comes to PS3, that sounds really cool.

That was awesome, looks like a blast on all instruments! Will definitely pick that up, thanks!

Livening this thread up again is a must.

Since you've obviously proven that they can do 20 minute songs, then it shouldn't be much of a job of squeezing in Octavarium. Like, the first 4 minutes can be removed because it contains nothing of interest, then you're on pretty much the same length as 2112 because the ending is pretty long and contains nothing of interest, so I guess it can be put down to 18-19 minutes.
But A Change Of Seasons would be equally good, just that it have to be 23 minutes.

If they're ever going to release a full album, or parts of an album, I will just list the albums I would have the most.

Scenes From A Memory full album, make it into one huge part also if 1 hour and 17 minutes is possible...
    Train of Thought full album
Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence partial album, but it shouldn't be mixed with parts from the song named that and other songs. The whole SDOIT song or some of the others.

    BUTBUTBUT.
I have an even better idea! Something which could wake up Mr. Portnoy a bit. Making a pack for the 12 Step Suite, it's 5 songs!
    But even BETTER
Make a pack with ALL the instrumentals, which would be Ytse Jam, Hell's Kitchen, Erotomania, Overture 1928, The Dance Of Eternity and Stream Of Consciousness. Oh look, do you rather want to wait a long time between each line on A Change Of Seasons or Octavarium than not having to sing it vocalists?
