Day 7 with the keyboard...

Passed Cold As Ice on Expert Pro Keys

Got my Xbox and RB3 in march. I have 18 songs GS's and not a single song on disc or among 200 DLC that is under 2 stars on PRO KEYS expert. Currently ranked #85 on the PRO keys leaderboard.

I played not for 1 weeks and first try fc Humanoid on pro drums

I had a really cool experience yesterday, while playing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" on expert pro keys. For a few measures of the song, it all just clicked. I was seeing the notes and playing them without thinking about them. My hand knew where to go. All I had to do was keep my eyes on the screen. And since I didn't have to concentrate on where my hand was, and since I tend to get emotional when listening to that song anyway (yes, I'm a softy, so there), for those blissful few moments, it felt like I was just completely in the song.

Then of course I got excited and started thinking about what I was doing, and totally blew the whole thing. But that moment is what learning and playing an instrument are all about. I hope I get to whole lot more moments like that, and soon!

That's funny. When I get into a song like that, it usually ends up in me missing half the notes but singing along, or in the case I'm on vocals, singing out of tune and playing air guitar.

Anyway, my biggest victory was switching back to RB2. Only when I tire of my decent sized legacy song library, or when I want to throw up a Pro Guitar score onto the leaderboards, will I go back to RB3.

Just got number #1 rank on xbox for 'Do you feel like we do?' for guitar. FC'ed the whole thing but made a mistake in the very last solo, 507k. Check it
