I just had the best online experience with randoms ever! They had good key heavy DLC and chose one song each and only once did they choose a song without keys.

a few more goals down, and now i've achieved sole possession the #2 spot in the PS3 fan count rankings. sadly, the #1 spot is held by someone with over 2 billion fans, a mathematically impossible amount to obtain without some kind of glitch or cheat. i'm debating whether to contact HMX about that so that i can take my rightful place at #1.
still got about 4-5 makeable goals, so i should top out somewhere in the 1.6 billion fan range.
Golded "Girl's Not Grey". For some reason, I always think there is an accelerando during the pre-chorus crescendos (which usually gyps me out of lots of OD), but I only fell for it once during this run.

Played pro drums for the first time in months. Like riding a bike! Did 4 hours and I'm sore. Improvements in Take No Prisoners, Wake Up Dead, I Will Not Bow, The Conjuring. SR Gold Stars for Rusty Cage and The Day I Tried To Live.

Thx to Boshes_95 for the AV
Pls improve guitar pro for RB4. Any guitar, no mute, dynamic difficulty
I've finally gold-starred "Hey Man, Nice Shot" on pro drums! And I've realized I've been making the song a whole lot more difficult than it really is.
I use a Roland e-kit that has the crash on the opposite side of the ride, meaning I have to mentally switch the red and yellow lanes when playing the cymbals (I'm a lefty). I've gotten to the point where it's easy enough to do for most songs, but "Hey Man, Nice Shot" would still throw me for a loop, even after a whole year of playing. So this weekend I hunkered down, determined to finally learn those patterns well enough for gold. I put the song in practice mode and slowed the tempo down. Since slowing the tempo mutes everything but the part you're practicing, this was really the first time I had listened to the drums by themselves. And I discovered, that's not a ride cymbal during the chorus, it's an open hi-hat! Since I play with a hi-hat pedal, I didn't have to flip between ride and crash. I only had to flip between hi-hat and crash, and those two actually are in the "correct" order compared to the on-screen graphics.
Once that got straightened out, gold came easily. All those months... oh well. Now I'm finally solid gold through tier 1.
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.
It's all right. We're going to the end of the line!
Fixed my kick pedal. Works better now.

I 4-starred Caprici di Diablo by Yngwie Malmsteen on Expert Guitar, which was a massive surprise for me. It's easily one of my best 4-stars and one of the few 4-stars I'm actually proud of. The ironic part is that I still haven't been able to 4-star Damnation Game, despite being an easier song...
That's one more song off the 3-star list.

Finally put up my first 2 Pro guitar GS/ranks on The Beautiful People and I Wanna Be Sedated
I also discovered that I can get 2 stars on Space Oddity Pro bass and still get in the top 10% (victory or fail?)
EDIT: I also legitimately passed Satch Boogie on legacy expert guitar
