Popped in my rockband 2 disc earlier today. The console I'm playing on doesn't have my old band saves on there so I've had to start from the beginning to unlock all the songs again (I've been working on doing this for a few months now, I seldom play).

So today I played expert drums for a bit on the tour, had a lot of fun with that. Unlocked the third venure of a city (it was London I believe). Saw a 5 song set, think it was called 'The United Kingdom Showcase'.

I checked what songs were on it: Aqua Lung, Pinball Wizard, Ace of Spades, Painkiller... said "aww **** idk if I can handle that right now.", and then noticed Panic Attack.

I said to myself 'aww hellz yeah!' I'd been waiting months to unlock Panic Attack so I can play it again. So I back out and switch to guitar. Played the set. I gold starred Aqua Lung, 5* on Pinball Wizard, Gold Stars on Ace of Spades, and then got 5 stars on both Painkiller and Panic Attack!

I nearly failed out at the end of the first solo in Painkiller but 5 stars nonetheless. And still not quite as good as I used to play these songs. Playing songs like Panic Attack especially, trying to always getting a better score than the best score I previously espablished, is what raised me to the peak of my skills a few years ago, when rb2 was still actively played online. I miss those days.

Performances like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4LUxAlargg&feature=plcp) are what I really miss. that's me on guitar in a full band with my buddies. Good times

P.S. That video was recorded by my friend OKPEEPS who was on drums. We're all in my band on world tour mode. He was one of my first friends on psn, met him playing guitar hero 3 . Cool dude he is, feel free to check out some of his other videos, he's got a lot of good ones.

I don't think anyone can peak at rythm games, it all has to do with how fast you learn, and building endurance. :|

sure they can, maybe not a peak but more like a plateau. And I'm sure there's way more factors than just learning ability and endurance. I'm just speaking from my experience though, a few years ago I was consistently getting better scores than I can get now.

Well, I can say that the better you become, the slower you get better, but I've never actually peaked my skills.

Also, it might be possible to peak if you don't play every day, like a real instrument, if you don't, you can rust. 30mins a day is sufficent to not rust though.

Just FC'd all of Slipknot 01 on Bass and also FC'd Blue Monday on Bass on my sightread.

Slipknot 02 might happen as well but the only song I have left in that pack is Pulse of the Maggots. I have to figure out the first alt-strum part but I can get the last one just fine.
    Now playing: RB3

Depends on how much time you put in. I've peaked, but I play once a week in general. If I played 3-4 times a week like I used to, I'd probably still be improving.

Every once and a while I get a bit better at something, and Blitz helped me a bit, but in general, I'm around the best I'll likely ever be, which is fine with me.

I thought it was funny that a messege popped up while you were playing. If that happened to me, I'd be like, "who was that"?, get all distracted and miss notes. But not you
