Yeah, I DO realize I'm pretty lucky that way. She's actually a slightly better guitarist than I am!

Yeah, I'm with Doom on this one - mine would be like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah - you're the best. Now go wash the dishes'.

I think your victory was the applause.

Replayed the Flannel battle last night (I wish they would extend this battle - it's one of the few that I can actually play solo drums and have fun):

    * Alive - Scored 6.00 on the dot again
    * Black Hole Sun - Improved my previous score of 5.4 something to 5.92. Still WAY too many tricky fills for me and I missed at least one OD sequence... this is one of the songs that I've had for a long time, but never really practiced.
    * In Bloom - Scored a 6.00 on this one too... an improvement from my sloppy play yesterday but unfortunately one of my damn drum sticks flew out of my hand just as the BRE was starting - I know this severely affected my placing as it took about 10 seconds to get back on the throne.

Not sure what the correct OD paths are for these songs, but after playing them a few times, I at least got an idea of what NOT to do. Still - improvements all around... this is why we love this game, right?

Well, I finally did it. I managed to get through Satch Boogie earlier this week. It was the only song I hadn't passed on X-Guitar, and something I consider an accomplishment...in this realm at least!

Not Rock Band, but music game related. I nailed "Kick the Bucket" in GH2 finally...and if things go well this weekend I will hit 1000 GS in GH5. My first 100% music game!
