Finally Gold Starred "Detroit Rock City" on X-Guitar. I know, it's not a hard song, but the two strummy part at the beginning kept f-ing me up, and if you miss that....it's over.

When I did hit them...I would do something stupid and mess up my multiplier or activate overdrive at the wrong time and end up wasting it over the gap before the solo.

Finally figured out a good pattern and destroyed it. I'm happy.

    Yay me.

My victory this week was getting through GGaHT on medium in the drums solo tour as I only just got Rock band this week for the wii. I failed the song twice at about 70 % each before passing it. The song's amazing, but it's not too easy to get through the last 4 minutes at that speed!

Well, I gold starred a few Guitar Songs which I had trouble even 5 starring before:

    Main Offender
    Ballroom Blitz

Now I only have 7 main setlist songs left to gold-star, hope to get them before Rockband 2 comes out, although one i havent even 5 starred yet (RttH)

And I got in the top 500 for an on-disc song (Reptilia)

I beat both BYOB and Smokin on a random setlist by myself in World Tour. Not to mention that I couldnt beat BYOB with guitar alone before.
