I think I've finally got my calibration straightened out. After all these years. Now if I could just learn to stop coming in early on everything and outrunning hammerons.
If these walls could talk, the stories they'd tell,
and if they did, there'd be a whole lot of hell.
Today while thrift-shopping I found an old Guitar Hero II XBox guitar. Having read those things are built like tanks compared to the guitars put out by Harmonix and Mad Catz, I figured I'd give it a shot. People are right. This thing feels quite sturdy and plays very well, much better than my other guitars that started breaking within a year of purchase. The only problem is this thing is even more lefty-unfriendly than the RB guitars, and the whammy bar keeps hitting my hand as I play. I really wish they would make some lefty guitars. At this point I'd be willing to pay twice as much for one.
But anyway, while trying out the guitar I discovered I've actually gotten a touch better at game guitar. For the first time ever I gold-starred "Float On." That was a nice feeling.
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.
It's all right. We're going to the end of the line!
