Definitely my victory of the week, possibly my victory of the month: I FC'ed "Walk of Life" on expert pro drums!

Easy as it is, I never could quite master the song because I was always missing those snare fills. Then, my last time through, I finally realized, I was lagging on them. Usually I'm rushing the tempo if anything, so it was kind of a surprise to discover I was actually slowing down there. This time through I made a conscious effort to keep things peppy, and, bam! 100%, and #42 on the leaderboard!

Now I'm only about 12K shy of the top 2% in my RB3 pro drums career.
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.
It's all right. We're going to the end of the line!

For this week, I finally got around to contacting Pintech about my blue/ride cymbal not registering any hits the week before. They sent me two replacements, free of charge, and the replacement was very simple. It turns out that the red wire in the trigger mechanism broke off.

Once it was installed, I got to play for about 3 or 4 hours on Saturday, 17 March 2012. And it was a BLAST. Especially Psychostick's "BEER!!".
It's spelled "Squier." Stop spelling it like someone who is in training to be a knight.

Should be 50,52,53,55 for red, yellow, blue, orange, and then green is 60. I think it repeats if you go further up. This was like defg4 and c5, IIRC.

so, my fiancee and her sister work together, but in different departments. one day, my fiancee's sister is talking to one of her coworkers, and somehow i came up and the coworker was talking about how she hadn't met me and didn't know much about me.... but the one thing she knew about me was that i was really good at Rock Band. i guess my reputation precedes me.
