Your Rock Band victory for the week...!

Two days ago I muddled my way through "Jessica" on hard drums. The expert chart is just a little beyond my ability at this point, but that's okay since I'd already retreated back to hard on several others (curse you, Mitch Mitchell, and your witchcraft drumming!).

The victory was, that was the last tier-5 song in my collection. So far I have either passed without no-fail on expert, or 5-starred on hard, every song I have played. Now I have only 29 tier-6 songs to go, to see if I can boast that across the entire lbirary.

I just got back into Rock Band over the holidays. I've been away from it for 3 years. Finished Rock Band 3 and now started going through all the songs on EXPERT DRUMS. Played IMAGINE for the first time last night and got # 2 on the leaderboards 100% FC. Although when I checked the leaderboards this morning I'm nowhere to be found. I guess it takes a while to update on the website. I know IMAGINE is an easy song, but I thought it was cool that I ranked the high and FC'd on the very first try.

Nice one! My opinion is that it's a toss-up between Llama and Rehab for the disc's 2nd hardest 5*. The other two hit you hard for missing because of the low note total, and they're also quite tricky, but I have faith that you'll be able to handle them. Just keep practicing and you'll get them.

Had a family Rock Band party. Got a bunch of people involved, and almost everyone tried at least 1 song on some instrument, including a few surprises. We had some fun moments in there, including a rousing rendition of "Call Me Maybe" by the little one and my cousin's youngest.

Wow, I played "Sing" on vocals for the first time and I impressed myself at how well I did. Look!

It's going to be hard to top that this week or even in a while. I also managed to get rid of the 2-star scores I had, so it's another victory for me!

Broke down and bought Blitz for 360 as well as Moving Pictures. It's just a temporary fix and on the few songs I have, I'm destroying several friend's scores.
