Sang with the wife last night. #2 on PS3 for harmonies on "Stash" (!), #31 on "In My Head" (just me), and #53 on "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant". On top of that, I replaced the piezo on my snare (8" Pintech ConcertCast single-zone) and my crash (Pintech TC-14). They're out of warranty but they're not expensive parts, so my drums are back up and running at full capability. Maybe someday I'll be at full capability.

My victory is last night I beat my highscore on Sweet Home Alabama, went from 5 stars to 5 stars. Then I beat my score and got 5 stars for the first time ever on I Ain't Superstitious by Megdeth, and then today I got 5 for the first time on Veil of Illumination Part 1 by Andromeda.

It's kind of a lame "victory" (nothing that special about it to most people) ... but last night, I gold starred my 1410th song on legacy bass ... which was then right over 50 percent of my collection of total songs ... I went on to add another nine or so. Bass is not my primary instrument (guitar is, and I have a third of my songs gold starred there), so it's been something of a work in progress (taking the time to play on bass, mostly).

Oh! And I got five stars on a song (sorry, cannot remember which one) on Pro Drums on HARD tonight (it's a new instrument for me)! Boo yah! I did the same on Expert for "Imagine", but I doubt that really counts.

Yes, thank you! I love that people are still this excited about this game. That's a victory in and of itself.

On the contrary! I haven't gold starred anywhere near that many songs, so good job to you! And getting my first 5* on Expert anything was a super victory. You have to start somewhere.

Today I've got around to play all songs I didn't played yet on pro bass. Some really mediocre scores (Cult of Personality 1 star) and some not so bad (Jessie's Girl 5 star on sightread). Now I know which songs to work on.

I finally cleared all the venues in Stockholm in the original Guitar Hero's Band Tour mode, the first city I ever cleared so far.
What do you mean "Is that Bibarel in my icon?" No it's not! Shut up! :P
