Releasing Rock Band 2 as a standalone disc on September 14th and releasing the Special Edition on October 19th strikes me as pretty messed up. I mean all of the instruments are for sale separately on the 14th, just not the Special Edition. I want to wait and get the S.E., but there's no way I'm going to be able to know that the disc is out and not buy it.

I think it was a mistake to do it this way. People who were on the fence about whether they should buy the bundle and upgrade their controllers or just buy the game are now less likely to buy the bundle, since they have one more reason not to (they'd have to wait an extra month). I think they are going to lose money.

I'm not sure why people can't wait for they want the bundle, or just buy the game if they want to play it sooner. And how will they lose money, the same people that buy the game will buy individual instruments the minute they can.

The world, contrary to popular belief, will not implode if you have to use your original instruments for one month.

Europe says stop complaining. We still haven't got the PS3 version of the original Rock Band. There's always someone who has it worse than you. Unless you're in Finland.
