More metal in Rock Band:
I just don't get SoaD... I was listening to BYOB and all I could think was "Man, This guy has a funny voice..." maybe it's just that song but it kind of made me laugh.
Whatever, It's good to see that HMX listens to their fans.
Again, I love the Pixies. Saw them several times, saw Frank Black several times, saw the Breeders several times, want to make babies with Kim Deal. I hate playing Doolittle in Rock Band.
Now, are the note-charts fun? They sure as hell look it. But you'll never catch me dead with them.
However, for the purposes of this game, they're pretty good because of the complex charts. In terms of musical quality, just no IMO.
SOAD outsold Simple Man, Message in a Bottle, Just What I Needed, Baba O'Riley, and Behind Blue Eyes in first week sales. Those are classic songs, some of the greatest of all time. What does this say about the demographic profile of RB DLC purchasers? Obviously there are more young people playing and paying than old. But after seeing this... I wouldn't be at all surprised to see SOAD outsell releases from bands like AC/DC, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, Radiohead, etc. WTF?
Like l-o-t said, I just don't get it.
