They've already "reunion"ed. There are videos on Youtube. At one of the shows, Jordan's rig decided to die, so they all traded instruments. It was pretty awesome.

Carter Beauford from Dave Matthews Band uses double bass in quite a few songs, and tons more live - theyre not metal.

I think this a stereotype that needs to be forgotten...

I dont know about the new "standard" kit that will ship as part of the RB2 bundle, but the "premium" Ion drumrocker kit that will be available is already offering a 2nd pedal for purchase to attach to the one that comes with it for a double pedal set up.

When I had my 1st replacement pedal shipped to me, I tried running both pedals into a headphone splitter that I plugged into the jack and while both would send a signal thru that seemed to work, there was a delay or something to the point where you couldnt get a steady beat going. Also, given the way they attach to the base of the stand, you wouldnt be able to angle them as they would be on a real kit without some modifications there as well.

With the additional bass pedal port on the RB 2 kit I would love to see full double bass charts in future DLC (assuming that HMX hasn't already charted this way for RB2). I think this would be a great "perfection" along the lines of the "innovate and then perfect" strategy that HMX follows. To me, that's another great thing about the volume of DLC in RB. There's always new coding and new songs so they wouldn't have to wait for then next full version update to the platform for that innovation and perfection.

That set is worthless, as well as all the cymbals that will be "add-ons". The way the charts are tracked, it will never be realistic. Songs like RTTH put the hi-hat on red, which is not available as a cymbal.

There is also no way to differentiate from a tom hit or a cymbal hit in any song, and many of them, based on the tracks, aren't very clear.

Most of the other interviews (besides the Jimmy Buffett one) just seem awkward. This one actually seemed to go well. Maybe you should interview more people who actually play the game or have a stronger interest in it (like Buffett and Portnoy) rather than musicians that just happen to be in the game and have a lot of songs. I was excited to see a Rush interview, but it is pointless to have an interview about Rock Band when they aren't really familiar with it.

I was thinking that, but didn't want to say anything about it.

In conclusion, we need some Dream Theater Full Album DLC. Any of them would do just fine.

    Coheed and Cambria
    Rush
    Metallica
    DLC Please!
We also REALLY need some Porcupine Tree!

Could also be that after doing a few interviews you get more relaxed while doing them.

I am a maaajor DT fan, and I am so excited for their presence in RB. I hope this creates a bridge of accessibility for the younger generations in North America, where they haven't had a large presence in, short of in the Progressive Nation and Gigantour tours.

Oh, and Mike Portnoy is god.
