What is this I don't even... So if nice people make punk music they're immediately thrown into a different genre?

Nah, was just saying I don't usually like punk rock, but I like The Clash.

As far as the nicest guys in music, from personal experience I'd say the guys from Valient Thor have to be up pretty high on the list.

The biggest douchebag award goes to Yngwie Malmsteen for me. I met him at a signing at my old job. He treated everyone around him like crap and he was arrogant as hell. I only talked with him for like 30 seconds, but I can tell, just from those few seconds that he's a real douchebag.

Nicest musician I've ever met was easily Dimebag Darrell. He was so down to earth and he shredded on my old Ibanez before leaving.

I don't normally hear this from musicians, and most people I hear throw the "sellout" term around are into punk more for the image than anything else.

Haha I saw Metallica under jerks, that made my day. It's true anyway...

As it looks like, for the most part, rock stars are pretty nice people.... minus the occasional guy with the overinflated ego.
Sonata Arctica is in Rock Band. This is officially the greatest thing ever.
