Thom's voice sounds really powerful in a live setting. It's a shame the crowd noises sometimes overpowered the music, though...I would've liked to have seen a professional quality version of that particular concert.

Placebo's Pure Morning. Love the drum tone.

^ wow, that was a pretty awesome song. I only knew one Placebo song before this. Kinda got a little repetitive though after awhile.

Here's a band I've posted a lot of songs to from the other Forced Listening Thread in the General forum.

    Y&T - Forever

In light of Devo's entry into Rock Band, I present the best Devo track. Also I recommend watching the video too, its pretty amazing. Note the sarcastic overtones.

So is the video the actual music video Devo choose or what? Interesting. I love the upbeat tone of everything from the vocals to the keyboards. The light-heartened wholesome narrative of the instrumentals takes a dark turn there midway with the "FOR YOU". I liked it, especially with the pictures to associate with the music itself. I also like that, in spite of this, the melody and rhythm still keep their comical upbeat feel, relentlessly, to the very end of the song, despite the deceptive lyrical content.

This is one of my favorite bands of all time performing my favorite song of all time: Soldier of Fortune. I love how the guitar sends so much emotion, especially the solo.

this is the first time i've completely enjoyed opeth. apparently i need to seek out more of opeth doing covers, because this is really good...
lovely organ haunting the whole song, coupled with the gorgeous guitar leads, really makes this song for me. his voice isn't quite as strong as the original, but it still sounds great.

Yeah it is the official video. I find it amazing how the entire complexion of the song is morphed by the addition of two simple words. Its incredible how the song can mean the complete opposite of what you were thinking when he throws the "For You" in there.

afterstasis: I enjoyed that song. I can't describe what exactly I liked about it, The organ in the background always kept it going and the vocals, Going from distorted and a bit creepy to a relieving clear voice enhanced the overall mood of the song.

The song I'm posting is "Computer One" by Dear Enemy. This song is reportedly still played on radio and I heard it appears on 80s compilation albums.

Fact: This is an 80s Australian band called Dear Enemy. Do not confuse this band with a newer band of the same name.
    I see Scarecrow People.

You listen to the song posted above, comment on it (likes/dislikes/etc) and then post a song yourself.
