I can't think of any other way to say this: he really gets into the song. Well-written lyrics (from what I could interpret) and I love his unorthodox voice, too; kind of reminds me of John Linnell from They Might Be Giants. Do you know if there is an MP3 version of this performance?

I'm not quite sure if I have or haven't heard that song before. The song has a nice groove and I really like the vocals. It sounds like the vocalist is really drive emotion into the song. Nice song choice Runesmith.

    2 songs...
    Band: Black Stone Cherry
    1st song: Lonely Train...Off their self-titled album
2nd song: Blind Man...Off their new album "Folklore and Superstition"

I think the band has a very nice sound...Most newer bands dont do anything for me, but these guys have released exactly 30 songs, and I am a fan of all 30...Hope you guys enjoy...

i'm skipping the dude who doesn't know how this thread works and didn't say a thing about the previous video...
it might be a good idea to post some simple rules in the first post, jukeboxhero...

i really like rush's "hemisphere" album, though this song has always bugged me a bit. i really enjoy the beginning, but as the song gets more tense towards the end i can't help but begin to lose interest... i'm definitely all for long instrumentals, but this one fails to really hold my attention all the way through.
as for this specific live version, the intro is my favorite part due to the "dreamy" sound they achieved. i would have loved for them to have followed that theme more closely.

^ Not bad, not something I would seek out myself, but definitely something I wouldn't mind seeing in RB as your sig suggests :P

^ The only thing I didn't like about that song was that you could hardly here the vocals. Maybe it's just me but I could barely make them out. Other then that it was pretty good.

Last video I'm doing for these guys. And the only reason I'm posting this one is because last time I did, the guy after me didn't say anything about it.

There is just nothing that makes that stand out IMO. Decent, but the vocals are weak, and the music is average.

    Something different....

For once I get a chance to post right after you do. We seem to have similar tastes from what I can see (feeling lonely amongst the metalheads :-)). Unfortunatly this last one didn't really cut it for me. The melodic voice is attrocious, but hat's minor. To me the main "singer" has way too much of an american rapper style, and it just bugs me for the duration of the song. I really like the dirty backbeat atmosphere though, even if it didn't hook me enough for a second listen.

    Now since we've touched trip-hop
