I have been a huge fan of Major Tom since the first time I heard it on XM last year. Probably one of my all-time favorite choruses; it doesn't get much hookier than that.

To continue with the New Wave theme:

You can't go wrong with Oingo Boingo.

Age has nothing to do with taste for the most part...

Your sample media is nice. Pretty relaxing.

But yeah videotime on my end:

Nice. Some funk/soul/etc. would be a great addition to the RB catalogue.

However, whenever I see anything from Soul Train I can't help but think of the 'Soooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuul Mass Transit System' from The Simpsons.

Here's my contribution, Girlfriend Is Better by Talking Heads. This is taken from Stop Making Sense, a fantastically great concert film/album. This is the song where the legendary Big Suit is first worn.

Nice and funky. I really like the bassline in that song, and this is a really good performance. Also, any video that showcases David Byrne's dance skills is great.

What is sad is that I have based most of my dance moves off David Byrne. Rest assured, it has gotten me some odd looks whenever I hit the dance floor.

It's alright, there's something about it that I don't quite like though; not sure. Meh.

It's very catchy, in a banal sort of way. I'd probably get the single and listen to it twice before it became one of those songs I skip when it comes up on my iPhone.

Does anyone chart anymore? le sigh.
