Most wanted song: Tommy Gun-the Clash
A nice live version of one of my favorite tracks from Origins. But I'm starting to get kinda tired of Muse, especially with BH&R getting constant airplay. They're a bit overrated, over-hyped, and a lot of their songs sound very similar. Don't get me wrong, they're good, but their 15 minutes of fame needs to end.

i saw these guys live a pretty long time ago opening for vue in atlanta. they were so much different then, and i've gotta say i prefer their older sound...
this song wasn't bad, but i had trouble keeping my attention focused on it. it never grabbed me. i think it was mostly the vocals that turned me off.

^ That was the most terrible thing I've ever heard. Having said that I think it was the intention of the song. Bad production, laughable lyrics, terrible drum loop, and the most nerdiest voice I've ever heard. But, again, I suppose that was the intention.

My forced listening submission: Finntroll.
While Norway took black metal to a new level and Sweden took death metal on a new tangent... Finland has pioneered a new kind of authentic metal that every metalhead seems to love.

Oh! This is going to be my new favourite thread. Can I play?
Hahaha, I'm speechless. I'm sure you'll forgive me if I call it a bit gimmicky, but it's most certainly interesting, and definitely amusing. Something I'd love to come accross walking around at a music festival :-)
And now in a completly different style

i've only heard a few songs from these guys, but this is the first one i've enjoyed. i may have to check out this album, because i've only heard stuff from the first one.
it makes me think of a combination of bruce springsteen's "the river", crooked fingers, and carissa's wierd.
it does start to drag around the 7 minute mark. the part that comes after the brief pause isn't as strong as the first 5 minutes and has trouble developing in my opinion, but it's still alright sounding. overall a good song.
