I play guitar. Gemini by Brian Kahanek (might recognize it from Guitar Hero 2) and Fly Me to the Moon by Paul Gilbert are both my songs of choice right now.

I play drums!... Rather poorly... I'm not good at coming up with a good beat unless I have the other parts ad even then, I am overly critical of myself when I play. If I'm off even 1/100th of a beat, I'll come to a temporary halt and try to restart or just end up stopping altogether. My snare drum also sounds like a trash can lid.

My friends learning to play guitar, though, so I'm hoping to shape up a bit and jam with him. Maybe start that doom metal band I've always dreamed of, haha.

After watching Alex Lifeson's absolutely awe-inspiring performance in Winnipeg at the end of May, I play guitar. I'm trying to teach myself all the chords and notes on the fretboard while giving in to my urge to learn SOME Rush. Right now I can play pieces of Working Man, Limelight, Fly by Night, YYZ (the intro, its so easy it doesn't count), Spirit of Radio, and most of Closer to the Heart.

    Bass Guitar and Drums.

Drums: I would like to say, kick ass, honestly. I mean I don't have that much experience, but I have enough by comparison to know that I'm not bad at them. Definitely "passable" by any big time band's view. I can keep a beat and throw in some tricky interesting stuff here and there so... I could probably cover any song though. It might sound different, but I could make it through with a steady beat for sure.

Bass: Just stated learning so, terrible. I mean, I could probably learn pretty fast (considering I was playing whole bass lines a few days after first touching one a few weeks ago) but it will take me a while to be passable at it as well. Currently I know parts of Working Man, Iron Man by Iron Maiden, Summer of your love by Cream, Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes, Come as you are by Nirvana, Crazy Train by Ozzy and Money by Pink Floyd.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and some semblance of Calm Like a Bomb by Rage Against The Machine. The intro is rough, but I can do it at nearly real time and the verses are pretty easy with practice.

EDIT: Oh yeah and other than piano lessons YEARS ago, I am totally self taught.
