Press release from Warner Bros. & Mastodon hints at PS3/Wii release dates

    http://www.marketwatch.com/news/stor...4%7D&dist=hppr

Quoted excerpt of the relevant bit from the article:
The phenomenally successful Rock Band game brand is preparing to launch its latest edition, Rock Band 2, which will feature the Mastodon track "Colony Of Birchmen," from their current Grammy nominated Reprise Records album, BLOOD MOUNTAIN. The game will be available on several game platforms including Xbox 360 scheduled for release on Sep 14, PS3 scheduled for Oct 19, and Wii scheduled for a Nov 16, release. For further details, track listings and release info got to www.rockband2.com.
May be of interest. Maybe not. May be the dreaded rumor and speculation rearing its ugly head once again. I just find the links, people.

You really are rocking the crap out of the sleuthing today, nice work.

    And, hoorah - semi-confirmed.

The contents of the above post are likely sarcastic.

Well, remember, until we hear it from the sound of engines and the voice of God themselves, it's all just unconfirmed rumors and speculation. Right?

I was under the impression that the PS3 and Wii were both dropping in October, so this makes me skeptical again.

Incidentally, I love how all these articles say to go to rockband2.com for more details which, in many cases, contains FEWER details than the article.

The irony has not been lost on me, of that you can be assured.
