and why would it be nevermind when they just announced 6 albums? wouldn't you think if they wanted to release it that they would of announced it with the other albums?

They said they never announced nevermind, which they didn't.

But they do have the rights to it. So if they decided to, they could release it.

But I'm not holding my breath.

I would not be surprised if we do get it though.

Any content that's in Rock band 2 was probably licensed with several tracks with the specific album. All the albums coming out have songs on disc of Rock band 2. I'm sure we will probably be getting alot of content from artists on disc this year. Including more albums than we could imagine. I might be an optimist but I wouldn't be surprised if we see around 600 available songs by Christmas. Harmonix is not stupid, I think they know very well that 500 is a strong possibility, and they're not one to promise things that if they don't have a 100% possibility of coming true. If they say they're going to have 500 songs by Christmas it's probably because they already have that many in testing phase right now!
