I am a uk resident that owns a ps3 . I have given nearly $320 to get rb1 over to the uk so I can enjoy such mind blowing , awesome , life changing game as this. I have created american accounts and used entropay to download DLC so I can keep up with the songs and game that is so dear to me .
recently I also bought what is now known as the full version of what is now known as the ion kit for $560 (£280) . I have imported a usb adapter that was made by seth on this forum for $220 inc p+p . I have in total inc all DLC spent approx $700 on a product that is still not out for the ps3 in the uk .

i will say this from the heart ,until I imported ROCK BAND I was one of the many EU ps3 console owners that has spent the last year looking on this forum waiting for news about a game that I so dearly wanted and all Ive seen is posters going on about we've not had our DLC, they dont care about us , they treat us like SH*T because they havent given us any info in 10 minutes .Well how you you feel about all the other people that are STILL waiting for this game , FU%^in get a life .
Although all that I have gone through to get this game , I still think HMX are doing a honest job to make sure most people get what they want .
Just imagine when all you guys are creamin all over yourselves after RB2 is released there are still people waiting for RB1 so all you whiner's get a grip because all you PS3 owners are gunna get a taster of what is like to watch other people play a game and you cant

i love hmx but c'mon

-the weak pedals and quickly cracked drum pads that lose bounce and have to be modded with pennys and pads
-the squishy strum bars with clickety buttons
-who's next fiasco
-saying you got rights to nevermind but not pushing out one of the most popular cds ever
-hidden lists in game of songs that get people excited but never see the light of day
-bands like godsmack, bad religion, pennywise, offspring and more that break announcements as good will to their fan bases and fan bases of these games but they neither announce or acknowledge said goodwill heaped upon them by the BANDS themselves
-broken talkies and in game bugs like fake steven tyler
-moving pictures bugs and fiasco
-delay for god knows how long on that offspring pack someone had to send info to microsoft about
-DLC bugs that cause people to have to go into their system and delete files or manually redownload everything again
-european pricing issues and general lack of acknowledgement for large markets
-HMX hyping announcements already known like some sort officer barbrady "move along nothing to see here" moment
-the south park issue
-the disturbed promotion issues
-20 free dlc coming in two weeks or possibly longer that the crowd is obviously interested in knowing and HMX is paper bagging their customers on
-no release dates for european games
-australia game stocking issues

of course i'm dissapointed, specially for the sizeable investment i've laid into the enjoyment of this game. i love this game and i love the company that makes it, but we sure do put up with a bunch of issues. not wrong to ask for a bone to be thrown or feel like something good might be coming sometime soon, specially since they kinda asked for it by creating such an open and broad connection between developers and customers.

2). I wont be buying the DLC. Does that make me a bad person? No, it does not. If I want to donate to the charity, I will do it seperately. I'm not gonna pay for something I wont play.

This is sort of what I was thinking. No one should buy the songs simply because they're for charity. To use a hyperbolic analogy, how about getting kicked in the nuts for charity? But... it's for charity!

I'll be getting Skullcrusher Mountain... sounds cathcy.
