all great bands, and i've always considered popol vuh an essential kraut band, taking a different approach to the genre than many of their contemporaries with equally stunning results.

I've only listened to German Oak's German Oak and liked it a lot, looks like I have a lot of exploring to do.

Same here, I've got some Cosmic Jokers, Ash Ra Tempel and Can albums, but that's it. I've been meaning to get into Popol Vuh ever since I heard the Aguirre soundtrack, and Amon Duul II also seems like fairly exciting territory.

I really enjoy what little I've heard. Kraftwerk and NEU! are two of my favorite bands. I really must hear more, starting, I assume, with Can.
