    Rock help...

So ever since guitar hero came out I've been willing to expand my horizons in the rock world.

I have a bunch of the "classic" rock with Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Beatles, Rush, Sabbath, Aerosmith and so on. But as far as the 90's and late 80's are concerned my collection is lacking.

Can anyone recommend some good albums and artists from that period. I enjoy Nirvana, REM, Pearl Jam, yet i couldn't name any good albums from them (other than Nevermind).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Well, since you named REM, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam, I'll name an album from each of them:
    Nirvana- "In Utero"
    Pearl Jam- "Ten"
REM- "Document" (or a greatest hits of them too, they have a lot of good songs spread out over several albums)

You appear to have at least a SIMILAR taste to me, so I can suggest some of my more favourite 90s and 80s bands. Phish, Dispatch, They Might Be Giants, Oysterhead, State Radio, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The B52s (The Ultimate Party Band!!!), Ween, Moistboyz. I will leave you with that for now.

If you like brit-pop at all check out Blur and Oasis. They are both really good.
