Agreed, though I will defend his playing on the earlier KISS material. Back when he gave a crap he could be damn good, there's some killer walking bass lines on a lot of the early stuff.

It Sucks! What kind of list of the top 100 rock bassists doesn't include Gene Simmons? One that shouldn't be taken seriously, That's what kind.

You fail. Gene Simmons is really overrated. I watched a Gene Simmons "bass solo" on you tube. He stole the riff from a Allmans Song.....

Jamerson is quite the influential player, I still need to get some of the albums he played bass on.
