Considering the World Tour drums aren't out yet, it's too early to say.

Also, expect a lot of negative things to be said about the Rock Band drums even though there is an extremely easy fix in most cases.

    Wait and see.

The contents of the above post are likely sarcastic.

I have a feeling that the GH:WT drums' cymbals will start to snap, similar to the RB1 pedal. Plus who knows if they will be compatible with RB2... It would be awkward to play RB2 if it was too because the yellow would be charted to a cybal every time.

Here's the funamental problem with the GH:WT drum kit --- mapping.

In Rock Band, its laid out simply and logically: red is always snare; yellow is your hi-hat (and tom); blue is the ride cymbal (and open hi-hat and tom); green is the crash (and tom).

While watching the videos on IGN, I noticed the restriction caused by having two cymbals: the left cymbal was mostly hi-hat and the right cymbal was ride, except when they needed to be crash. So if you were running on the hi-hat, the right cymbal became the crash; but if you were running on the ride, the left cymbal became the crash.

Once again, video gamers making music games left out the logic of how a drum kit should be laid out.

I'd stick with the Rock Band ones. Also, early word I've heard is that the cymbals on the GH:WT kit have a tendency to snap and break. But that could be resolved in the next month.

how else would you map it when you only have 2 cymbals? sounds logical to me.

Astecically, the GH drums are just ugly. It doesnt resemble a drum set at all. The pie cymbals look cheap. I realize those are used by some real electronic drum sets but come on. Poor choice. It looks small. Not for me.

Now, if they have a smaller fail rate then the RB drums then good for them. Visually their pretty bad though.
    quitters make me ill.
