Sooo... is the DLC out yet?

I don't get to pick up my game until 10 AM tomorrow...

And granted, I could easily boot up my 360 and check for myself, but dammit, I'm already sitting down, and I'm quite lazy and drunk...

So... is the DLC released yet? As in, after midnight of the release date? Because it'd be fantastic to expand my playlist right off the the bat once I pick up the game.

Blarf. I'm going to bed now.

I think they said 2 am in the other thread - I don't know if that's true, but that's the only time I've heard - lets give it another half hour and see. Sadly, I don't have internet at home - I just moved - and my girlfriends place (where I'm at now) doesn't have a TV or a single non-laptop computer so I can't check at either place. I'd even go into work to check, but it's an all Mac office, and the Xbox VGA cable won't connect to them. Arg.

I don't know when they're planning on releasing it, but I know all the Xbox Live Arcade games are released at 4am EST on Wednesdays, so maybe it won't be until 4....just a guess seeing as that's the only thing I have to reference it to.

well, HMX said they submitted the patch with the DLC and that both were scheduled for 'Day 1' - is tomorrow Day 0?

ok this is straight from the microsoft website :
"Harmonix and MTV Games have announced the release schedule through the end of 2007 for individual song tracks and song packs for the game Rock Band?. Beginning November 20, fans will be able to purchase three-song packs from Metallica, The Police, and Queens of the Stone Age for 160 Microsoft Points per track and 440 Points per pack. Individual tracks from Foreigner, Wolfmother, and The Runaways, among others, are available for 160 Microsoft Points.

New song packs are available through the end of 2007.

And that's just through the end of 2007. Fans can expect more music every week through 2008 with tracks ranging in price from 80 to 240 Microsoft Points, with most tracks being offered for 160 Points.

Here's the full release schedule for November and December of 2007. All three-song packs are available for 440 Microsoft Points, with each track also available individually. All individual tracks are 160 Microsoft Points each. All tracks marked with an asterisk (*) are cover songs as made famous by the listed artist. Tracks without an asterisk are original master recordings."

hopefully this means we'll have this tomorrow.

another thing in that is that i was hoping that we'd get songs for the week of christmas but this article seems to not say that.

everything I've read on the subject says they announced the first 5 weeks. The week of Dec 18 is the 5th week, so I think we'll be good as far as xmas week goes. They probably just haven't scheduled anything that far ahead yet.
