Thats a very good question, I'd say. Because I adore both, but I guess I would look for the former before I went looking for the latter, not because I have more than the other; but because The Jesus Lizard, Janitor Joe, Big Black, Rapeman, Shellac, Scratch Acid, Qui, etc. are all enough for me at the moment and I'm always look for more variations of Funeral Diner, Raein, Orchid, Envy, etc.

Well I think I prefer Gray Matter over Lizard or Shellac so I must like Emo-influenced Post-Hardcore more.

I enjoy both types, but probably enjoy the Noise Rock side of things more. Lately I've been listening to Boilermaker and Minutemen, particularly enjoyed Minutemen's 2nd album quite a bit.

Noise influenced Post-Hardcore is better, though I love both.
Despite all my rage, I'm still just Nicolas Cage

I prefer the emo-influenced post-hardcore to that of the noise-influenced hardcore. But, they both make me joyful on the inside.

I prefer the noise influenced post-hardcore myself as I love noise rock and post-hardcore, both of which are probably two of my favorite genres.
