Ultimate Rock Band Party!

So I was trying to figure out what the ultimate rock band party would be and I could not come up with one set idea, they all got pretty scattered. So what do you all think would be the ultimate RB party. Any ideas on themes, rules, food or whatever?

Generally we go with singer picks the song until the singer's drunk and we pick Herr Komt Alex or another non-English for them. But when I'm on the mic it's random songs all the way.

I'm having my ultimate RB party for Halloween, We will have either 2 or 3 song sets with the last song being random, No fail mode on. Screen for each player etc, check out the thread for details

We just had our first official House of Rock; Rock Band Party.. It was a blast but I might of over done the lighting a bit.. Nah.. Photos are a bit blurry the wife didn't understand shutter speed in low-light situations..

We had about 15 people who just would rotate in and out. It was a success since everyone rotated through the Mic including the "You'll never catch me alive singing". But then again Jim Beam and Elijah Craig was on hand so there was alot of liquid courage.

Note and this may have been discussed before, but if your Party starts @ 6PM and you happen to have an open bar and heavy drinkers by 9PM you may want to switch to "NO FAIL" mode. Believe it..

First, I'd say just set the machine on band quickplay so people can play/sing the songs they're most into.

As the host, go all out. Encourage people to come dressed like rockers. (Maybe offer prizes for the best?) Decorate your place accordingly; set up funny lighting, or rent a smoke machine if you're really crazy.

Let there be alcohol. (And energy drinks, because cocaine is just too expensive in today's economy.)
