Whats the worst overall song in rock band in your opinion?

Fine... I'll dismiss it for its lack of complexity in everything. It does not specialize in one thing. My g/f can sing it and 5 star it on expert, I can 5 star it on expert on guitar, my buddy on bass, and my buddy on drums. all 5 star, all expert, and we have played it only about 5 times. We jumped from playing it the first time on hard to expert and 5 starred it the second time we ever played it. If we ever needed a charity song on a set to earn back fans, we play maps.

Smoke on the water. This is one of the easiest songs in the whole damn guitar world. Everybody knows thats song. EVERYBODY!

It has more depth in its notes than maps does. Better drums, better vocals, and a better solo.

Wow wow... wooooow wooooow! Suffragette city and detroit rock city in your worst songs list! Maybe you don't understand the importance of David Bowie and Kiss (well i gotta admit Kiss's cheesy) in rock's evolution... You can say you don't like them but don't say it's bad.

This isn't contemporary music appreciation 101. A song's importance in the history of rock evolution has nothing to do someone's enjoyment of said song.

Personally I hate Detroit Rock City. But have a hard time understanding how someone could hate Suffragette City... that song is great!

My most hated song shall always be Main Offender. It's tolerable playing guitar to it, but the dudes voice... HIS HORRENDOUS, TALENTLESS VOICE!!!! It's like suffering through that terrible cover version of Heart Shaped Box on GHII.

Speaking of bad covers... How about that Tom Sawyer cover? I love Rush--though Tom Sawyer would be a bottom pick from their library for me--and I just cannot stand the sound of the guy that sang the cover. I gotta give him some credit for trying though. Geddy Lee's shoes are hard to fill.

One song that always made me cringe on the radio, but which we love to play in Rock Band, is Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive." Its soft/hard sections and progression are really predictable and trite to my ear, but in RB it works very well with the game flow. I can't stand Bon Jovi, but we whoop it up every time we play that song in RB.

well, other than that one, fall out boy, and Epic, i don't mind anything else in the game.

I love Maps, Electric Version, Wave of Mutilation, and the other songs that are getting a lot of hate here.

Agreed on both likes and dislikes.

"Epic" is complete and utter rubbish. It was rubbish back when it came out, and it's rubbish now. Whenever I have to sing it, I change the chant to "What is this? It's sh*t! What's this song? It's sh*t!"

And I get "awesome" for it.

LOL, yeah. I freakin hate that song. But it's just so over-the-top cheesy, it somehow went full-circle and became fun to get into in Rock Band.

same here, I'm not a Bon Jovi fan by any means, but this song is a lot of fun!
