[Non-Christian Thread] Jesus Christ Superstar for Easter?

I am not a religious type - not at all, more the opposite. However, I really like the 70s rock-musical jesus christ superstar for its music (specially the vocals -some of those singers were awesome).

Unfortulately it is way to late to suggest that to HMX as Easter DLC, but there is always next year :P Maybe they thought of it themselves (what I doubt, to be honest)

But I think it would have been a great idea, since its really cool and funky / rocky music that "non religious" people like me can still enjoy, while the guys asking for christian rock would get a real number of smash-hits of their genre.

Or at least the ones that get along with the fact that this musical raised some controversy due to it's critical aspects in story interpretation^^

Well, it might still be a good choice after easter

    whaddaya think?

    Wrong forum.
Seeing as how long you've been here, you have no excuse.
Bring "Possum Kingdom" - The Toadies and "Who Was In My Room Last Night" - Butthole Surfers to Rock Band!

Why not? Just make sure you throw threads like this in the ultimate setlist.
    275+ DLC + RB1 + RB2 + AC/DC + Lego + Green Day
    X: Drums (Pro)/Guitar/Bass
    M: Vocals

I would have gone for "Rock Me Sexy Jesus", myself. But alas, it (probably) will not come.
No longer can play Rock Band due to a horrible (but, luckily, nonviolent) robbery.

Yep.I know, ... there is always someone who wouldn't buy this or buy that. Just an idea anyway, but it's one that might kill two flies with one strike. Satisfying ppl that want christian music and getting some epic tunes.

ANd be assured, it is the only obvious christian-related music i'd download in my wholelife .. and only due to it's musical genius.

Hell yeah! That sound track rocks. My favourite has always been Peter's Denial, but there's other really good (and funky!) stuff on there... and I think it suits Rockband better than the Mattheus Passion....
