Yesterday afternoon CMT reported that country music will become available for RB2. They were announcing the release of RB2 but stated that country fans should not feel left out as country music will be available starting in December.
Hrm, interesting. Was anything else said? Bands or dates or anything specific? What show was it on? Was it a commercial or a blurb at the bottom or something?

It was one of their country news updates. A part of the update had a promo for RB2. They simply said that RB2 has now been released, but country fans, don't feel left out. Starting in December select country songs will become available for RB2. No specific band. No specific date.
That's great news for people who want country. Personally, I hope they keep the tracks DL based, or release them as standalone track packs. I'd rather country not worm it's way onto future retail based games. I don't want peanut butter in my chocolate if I can help it.
