I'm running out of room on my 20 gig HDD, and thinking its a good idea to get the 120 gig HDD to have PLENTY of room for my games and, of course, Rock Band DLC. No, I don't have the 360 Elite, I just want to bye the separate 120 gig HDD with the transfer kit and move my rock band stuff and other save games from my old 20 gig to the new 120 gig. But I am VERY concerned that I may lose information, or not be able to transfer my DLC to the new hard drive, due to reading the official Xbox 360 transfer kit details. If I correctly understand, I can only transfer data from my 20 gig to my 120 gig once, and after that, all data from my original 20 gig drive is deleted? I ****ing hope not. Or is it if there's any new content on my 120 gig that gets deleted? I'm fine with that, its just demos anyway. I also read that I have to acquire new licenses to use the content on the new HDD, which doesn't seem bad, except it says I have to download everything again, and that some things can not be relicensed! So, here's the short and sweet version:
1.) Can I transfer my Rock Band 1 and 2 save games and DLC (including the exported Rock Band 1 tracks) from my old 20 gig HDD safely to my new 120 HDD without the contents from my original 20 gig HDD being erased?
2.) Can I acquire licenses for ALL of the above content, and not just "most" or "some" of the content?
And for all you ADD and ADHD folk out there, the short SHORT version..
1.) Can I transfer ALL of my Rock Band **** from one hard drive to the other without any difficulties/casualties?
Also, if there are any surefire alternatives, let me know those as well.
