RO: I don't know where people get that Charles Dickens is boring. Great Expectations is decently entertaining by today's standards. It's not as flashy as The Dark Tower and the Star Wars book I'm reading, but I do like it.

RO2: For nostalgia, I started reading Dragon Ball again. Years after, I still really like the series.

Because he's slightly wordier than the average writer, and people are lazy and don't want to work through a book of his. Or at least that's my take on it.

I enjoy wordy books, but I hate Great Expectations a lot. Just a dull story, with no interesting characters (at least to me.)
Not removing this until we get some Sunn O)))
in which case this will be on for a while.

Well, actually, yeah, I can see that for Great Expectations. But I know a lot of people that dismiss a lot of Dickens as being "too long."

RF: I love talking about literature.

Pepperoni is entry-level. Order some pepperoni/black olive/mushroom/crushed cookie.
