I consider music critics and video game critics to be bottom-of-the-barrel.

I find video game reviews to be very accurate most of the time.

    Red Dead Redemption:10

Most people find some review source that works for them and sticks with it. For instance, by and large I tend to agree with what Eurogamer reviews titles, with some minor quibbles here and there.

I find most major review sites and magazines to be highly biased, particularly towards shooters. Most major flaws are even pointed out, in the case of the latest Call of Duty game, yet they still sneak by with a 9 or 9.5. I know I'd personally take Dragon Age II, for all its faults, over Call of Duty or Halo, though I suppose that is my own bias creeping in.

Video games are a hard thing to accurately review, I think. Part of that is because they age so fast in comparison with other forms of media, and I think most major video game reviewers tend to only compare new games with recent highly scored games.

While I don't care for most of her other music, nothing comes close to the scathing hate I feel for that particular song. Noteworthy, because there aren't many songs I can think of that can inspire that particular emotion.

Oddly enough, "Born This Way" happens to be one of them
my friends agree that if we were to drive off a cliff, Born This Way would be playing, for motivation to keep driving

Speaking of games, haven't played a really good one in awhile. Is Mafia II good? I'm thinking about getting LA Noire too, since Rockstar's games don't go down in price for a very long time usually, and it looks very good, though I still haven't beaten Red Dead Redemption.

    Sounds good to me.

Yeah, I think we've all been less active this past year.

I'm not keen on Eurogamer at all, though part of me is still angry at them for not giving Metal Gear Solid 4 a higher score. In a lot of ways, they're the Pitchfork of video games.

Too bad it had to follow the release of RB3... that game got me back into the series.
