Only if Rob's singing Pansy Division songs. Halford's the best thing that ever happened to the gay community, imho. First of all, he didn't come out until the mid 90's, after his career was ostensibly "over" (or, at least post-Priest). And when he did, we bought it - he never hid his sexuality, and everyone felt a little silly not realizing that this guy with the close cropped blonde hair and dressed in leather wouldn't have looked out of place as the biker dude in the village people. Songs like Breaking the Law, Turbo Lover, and Hell Bent for Leather took on a whole new meaning (not to mention "ram it down", in which I like to imagine Rob wrote after an encounter with a young inexperienced groupie. Imagine or "fantasize", I dunno which. rob halford sex sounds hot.)

Anyhow, the point is that Halford doesn't outwardly "advocate" for anything directly related to his sexuality, and as such it's not "Gay" music in the way Pansy Division, or Tribe8 or other bands that wear their sexuality on their sleeves. Rob does not: leather vests have no sleeves.

But to get back to the topic, Korn is just awful, but hey, if you were a loser teenager in the late 90's/early 00's, you probably listened to them along with the rest of your loser teenager friends. We all have our skeletons - I had a def leppard record once.
Does anyone chart anymore? le sigh.

That sucks, but keep an eye out for announcements about more shows. I'm pretty sure they tacked on an extra one in New York after the first two sold out quickly.

"If there's a lesson to be learned from this, it's that having good musical taste is like having a massive ****. If you're lucky it'll get you laid, but more often than not people won't care unless you take it out and waggle it in their faces, at which point people won't want to talk to you anymore. So save your dicks for /mu/ where you can stand, fully erect with pride. Penis."

Will do. There's also some book reading/signing thing Darnielle is doing in town the day before, so if all else fails, I might go to that, check the place they're playing if any tickets are left, and if so, spend the night at my sister's apartment and go to the show the next day.

Doubt it'll happen, but I might try that out.
