Well honestly, that just makes it way worse. People will dislike the music you listen to, that's pretty much how it works.

Yeah, it would've been fun to participate if the internet was stable yesterday.

RO: Am I going (further) crazy, or are there actually some stylistic similarities between the new Andrew W.K. EP and Devo?

EDIT: To clarify, the first half of the EP.

Concur! If you feel the need to prove your age to people, chances are you're not acting it.

RF: Pavlov was right. At work today, Resign to Surrender by Epica came on my mp3 player, and I immediately smelled trains and felt like I should be running through Penn Station. It's Pavlovian conditioning because when that album came out, I was travelling back and forth to the city like every few weeks, and listened to it non-stop, and that generally means smelling like the LIRR and running through the station to the subway.
Does anyone chart anymore? le sigh.

Yeah, it came out last week, I think. Thought about picking it up when I saw it, but I'll just do that next time.

Smelling like the LIRR? Must not be pleasant memories.

You mean I'm not the only one?

Outta curiosity, what's the general opinion of ELP among the populace?

One of the top three symphonic prog acts of the classic era (alongside Yes and Genesis). The likes of Brain Salad Surgery, Tarkus, and Trilogy are classics, but their post-1973 output can be safely ignored.

Even though I prefer other bands, there's no question that ELP is an excellent band.

I dig ELP, for the most part.

    Happy birthday FruitLord.
