Just listened to it... quick appraisal? Here's to hoping they jettison LaBrie for the next album. Vocals were about as bad as they've ever been from him, and it sounds, from the content, that he had a hand in writing the lyrics (my opinion on LaBrie as a lyricist is pretty well-known). Myung and Mangini may just as well have been invisible on this track. Sound overall seems very, very akin to one of the softer tracks off of Systematic Chaos.

I'm expecting the rest of the tracks to be better. It seems like generally that Dream Theater singles aren't as good as the rest of the album. At least more recently. And why get rid of LaBrie? He's been their voice since Images and Words. I know he's having vocal troubles though. When I saw Dream Theater last Summer, whenever he wasn't singing he would run behind a bunch of amps and drink some water while bouncing up and down. He did sound good when he was singing though during that concert.
