Dood. I know I've said it a thousand times in the chat, to Nova specifically (he has the yellow fever) and others but... **** ASIAN GIRLS. I refuse to date them. So many red flags and bull**** to deal with.

the yellow fever is an addictive son of a *****, but yeah...can say with absolute certainty Ive dealt with #'s 1-9, parts of 12 (I would diagnose it more like split personality than passive-aggressiveness. as in, one day you're all she wants, the next day her parents don't approve and she hates you), and DEFINITELY can understand #13. even in bed, **** gets weird man. especially when they drink. she flat out told me one night to take off the rubber and give her a baby.

uhm. sorry sweat heart, but...nooooooooooo.

bottom line: dating Chinese girls is going through the worst possible mind****s you could possibly imagine...

Most of those either don't bother me or I'm not used to, but, then again, I'm not usually dating Asian girls, mostly because the majority of them want to date Asian guys. (Also, I think there's usually a bit of unease being around somebody that's likely more than a foot taller and possibly three times their weight.)

Of course, also I've been around girls in college towns, so the atheist/agnostic thing is usually more prevalent there (well, usually agnostic)... not a huge concern to me (I'm a religious existentialist), but I could see that being a problem with the girls that are really big traditionalists.

I think it's more of an age thing.
Most of the people in my age group will likely consider Bruce a classic rock fave, particularly Nebraska.

I like a few Bruce songs, but despise him otherwise. He's not exactly bad, my dad is just a superfan and overexposed me ridiculously so now I can't stand him.

I think many people hear a few of his popular 80's rock singles (ie: Glory Days, Dancing In The Dark, etc) and think that's all he is, but honestly, he's a truly great musician when you delve into his albums.

To me, the deeper catalog of Springsteen bears some similarities to Bob Dylan - everybody keeps telling me how brilliant and insightful both are, when in all reality they're good but undeserving of the amount of near-universal acclaim they get.
