I'm not a fan of really any of his music projects but goddammit I can respect that.

One of my ex-coworkers just posted this awesome video of Dave jamming to Soundgarden in LA. Such a cool guy.

PS I tried to get tickets for that show too.

Yeah, I've seen that vid about 5 times these past couple months and never fails to bring a smile to my face, not only Grohl jamming out to Soundgarden but how good Chris Cornell sounds.

Not checking my email in time to see the info about a secret Soundgarden show in Seattle is one of the biggest regrets of my life.
Not removing this until we get some Sunn O)))
in which case this will be on for a while.

The few things I've heard from 'em have been good. I was wondering if anyone knows how their live show is.
    Is that the Beauty Bar?
Despite all my rage, I'm still just Nicolas Cage

If I understand it correctly, each iteration of the festival is curated by a famous person, so that person picks all the bands that appear and whatnot. I know Matt Groening has done a few of them.

The Bunkhouse. It's a self-described saloon and bar, but I don't know if that means that it's gonna be 21+ shows or if they'll mark my hand or whatever. I sent the owner an E-Mail, but he hasn't responded.

Haha, those would be pretty funny shows. That does seem like a lineup Magnum would put together.
