This week is a terrible week for me, with next week being salvation... well, terrible in college terms, which is actually quite tame in the grand scheme of things (but it doesn't feel that way dammit ). An exam or an essay for every class, that type of thing. I've gotten very little sleep this week.

Next week is Spring break for me... and considering Mass Effect 3 is the only game I plan to buy this year, great timing.

    Gorguts is a great choice.

    Haha, made me laugh aloud.

Other lyrical greats to consider: OTEP's "Jonestown Tea" (surprisingly unsettling for a band with their, ah, reputation), some darker Nick Cave, the last stanza of Bauhaus' "Antonin Artaud," anything pornogrind (like **** & Ball Torture), and Christian Death's "Burnt Offerings."

Of course, the debauched lyrical stylings of Christian Death may be a tad too sophisticated for him, but you be the judge: http://www.songmeanings.net/songs/vi...2107858482990/
Unfortunately, sophistication does not equal br00tal for most

And, of course, if said disturbing vocals are not delivered in a scream, they are worthless and most definitely not br00tal.

He actually has listened to a bit of pornogrind, though. Like I said, the reason he finds this particular song so deliciously br00tal is because it samples a recording of some woman calling the police after being attacked by her monkey. So it's apparently got to be for realz, never mind the fact that it's totally exploitative and not particularly creative.

Apparently the reasoning for thinking the song is so "brutal" is the fact that it includes a real life sampling (from a new report) of a woman being murdered by a monkey. So it's not musical, but lyrical content he's looking for...

Okay, new game. Most disgusting lyrics in a metal song ever? And not counting the really obvious tongue in cheek stuff

if he thinks that news report is "br00tal" show him the opening track to Church of Misery's Early Works comp

Yeah, my spring break isn't for another two weeks, so I've got a variety of tests and whatnot to get through until I get there. Also, a large-ish (15 pages, to be exact) paper is hanging over my head for all of March, blah.

Hmm. Tough crowd, I guess. :P How about Tool's "Faaip De Oiad"? Check out the backstory behind it: http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=4711 And, of course, you could always have him to listen to some of Charles Manson's or Skrewdriver's music!

You say that as though the two are mutually exclusive things.

That's a good point I suppose. I still do love his music though.
